Many social media pieces are done in two parts, the image and then accompanying text as a caption on the SM platform.
The text for this piece was, the average distance each Australian drives their car every year.
A few print concepts I drew up during my internship at ‘Marmalade’ for Whitford property. With the SMP being ‘Sell your house with us after Easter’. Marmalade had kept their layouts very easy and simple with a small visual in the middle surrounded by large amounts of white space and a line of text below.
Mobius is a material recovery service that reuses and recycles the waste they collect from building sites. Despite the fact they are an eco-friendly company their best attribute is fixed costs, or the lack of hidden fees. Most other material recovery services will charge extra on top of their standard rate if there are unforeseen circumstances. The people who would be selecting Mobius as a potential service are 'site managers', who are more concerned with the dollars and cents of collection rather than what is done with the materials once they leave site.
Using colloquial language that would be used on the work site to connect with the target audience is the main theme of the idea, in reference to actual problems that they might face through hidden costs.
Whilst keeping the Mobius green and branding as part of the execution.
Strong ideas are often simple, this gives them the ability to be spread across a wide range of media and platforms more seamlessly than needlessly complex ideas.
This is such an idea with potential for almost any media or platform.
